Education

University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Los Angeles, CA, US, Bachelors, Architectural Studies

The B.A. in Architectural Studies at UCLA is an intensive major beginning at the junior year of residence. Each quarter consisted of a required studio and lecture, in addition to other classes of our choosing. The lecture classes provided students a thorough historical and social perspective of architecture to guide their studio projects. Studio classes required students to learn a breadth of softwares, including Rhino, Revit, Grasshopper, V-Ray, and Adobe Suite. Every quarter brought on a new project, which was constantly edited and refined for final reviews. Our final projects consisted of drawings and models, which were expected to be at a professional-level quality of workmanship and discourse.
