I was born and raised in downtown Chicago, inspired by the architecture and history of the city. Since graduating from UCLA's School of the Arts and Architecture in June 2019, I have worked as a professional and freelance designer in LA, Chicago and New York.

AJS Designs is a collaborative, women-owned firm dedicated to creating inspired homes for our clients. We consider the client's needs and personal taste while upholding our contemporary-meets-mid-century look. As an Architectural Designer and Interior Designer at AJS, I was the CAD drafter for 10+ projects. My work ranged from construction drawing sets, to assisting in custom furniture design. I worked extensively on custom millwork details and construction drawings that cater directly to the space. I gained extensive knowledge of drawing and construction standards, and carried out concepts into tangible results. I was also responsible for furniture, fixtures, and finishes in collaboration with the principal.

As CAD drafter and interior design assistant at a luxury interior design firm, I was the primary CAD drafter for an oceanside home renovation project. I was responsible for creating the drawing set including construction plans, furniture plans, shop drawings, and detailed interior elevations. I completed spec sheets and purchases, created client presentations, and assisted in home staging for our projects.

Drafted plan check corrections at all project scales, including ADUs, single family residences, commercial spaces, warehouses, and apartment buildings. Worked daily on design of both new construction and additions/alterations. Worked with LADBS on plan checks and permits for both residential and commercial projects. Created colored elevations and publications in Photoshop. Created models and renderings in SketchUp.
Vida Design Group, Los Angeles, CA, US, Intern
Lead the interior design process for a key property. Drafted interior design spreads,
floor plans, elevations, and renderings for single family homes and multi-unit
apartment buildings. Assisted in design-build drawings on-site. Developed space-saving storage solutions for a hostel in Los Angeles. Worked daily with Revit and Lumion. Worked closely with clients, in office and on-site.
Dahan Properties, Los Angeles, CA, US, Intern
Documented the renovation of properties from demolition to completion. Assisted in
research for sustainable design practices. Assisted CEO and founder Mayer Dahan
at construction sites as well as the headquarters in West Hollywood.

The B.A. in Architectural Studies at UCLA consists of intensive studio classes and lectures. Studio classes require students to learn a breadth of softwares, including Rhino, Revit, Grasshopper, V-Ray, and Adobe Suite. Our final projects consisted of drawings and models at a professional level of craft and discourse.
