About

My background includes over 20 years experience in Architecture, Urban and Graphic Design. I am a U.S. Citizen with a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Detroit and am a licensed Architect in the State of Michigan. I am also NCARB certified, as well as a CSI, Construction Documents Technologist. Academically, I finished second in the PSI International Pre-Cast Concrete Competition and was also an Academic All-American student athlete in Track and Field.

I have worked on several large urban design master plans, which included figure ground studies, documentation and design guidelines. I was listed in Architectural Record as part of a firm noted as one of the Next New Urbanists. I also have a wide range of experience working on single family, mid-rise and high-rise projects. My responsibilities included feasibility studies, design, design development, and construction documents. I was involved in some of the first loft conversion projects to be built in Detroit.

More recent experience includes working on the Canadian Museum for Human Rights in Winnipeg, Canada; a competition won by Antoine Predock, where I helped develop the final design and deliver a full BIM model as well as construction documents. With KPMB Architects, I have worked on world class projects including the Art Gallery of Saskatchewan/Remai Modern which recently received Canadian Governor General’s Medal. I helped KPMB strengthen their project BIM standards and carry projects through construction.
