My duties at Sandis is to assist engineers to compose plans sets, from cover to sheet details. Starting from schematic design to construction documents.

•Assist civil engineers to set up drawing sets, starting from cover sheet, sheet size, index, notes, vicinity map and titles utilizing AutoCad 2017 and Cvil AutoCad 2017.
•Set up title blocks, sheet sets, update and setup fields, date links, site layouts, upgrade received files to newest or downgrade.
•Update base files, convert them to Sandis standards layers and coordinates.
•Extensive knowledge for drafting details requested by engineers for specific projects, updating grade, and slopes with engineer mark up.
•3D pipe work with specific slopes elevations, with labels per Engineer request
•Arrange necessary resources for file sharing and communication to effectively sharing files across Sandis or clients.
•Maintain strong communication with engineers and project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects and avoid any potential project conflicts.

My duties at Sherwood include setting up projects, composing drawing sheets, including: storm water management, drainage & grading, utilities and detail sheets plan from SD to CD.

•Often draw details requested by engineers, and manufacture them specifically for each individual project.
•Assist engineers by creating profile plans for the drainage and pipe lines utilizing Autocad 3-D civil, creating tags and profiles.
•Work with BlueBeam Revu, sharing studio sessions, working collaboratively with the team to finish red-marks, edits, to prepare and finish projects for submittals.
•Phase to phase project transition from schematic design to construction documents, ensuring that xrf’s files remain accurate, and relative, checking for errors and establishing quality control before submission.
•Updating the main detail library, as well creating new details for specific projects and preparing them for intro into details sheets.

At Shultz & Associates as an intern, I’m becoming familiar with the firm work load projects, mainly focusing on commercial projects. My duties as drafting and design. Duties are:

•Prepare drawing documents from the preliminary stages base of the project starting from project sheets A0.1,A1.1. thru MEP’s while incorporating feedback from the architect lead.
•utilize SktechUp Pro. to generate 3-D renderings of preliminary and final design to showcase the clients for visual review.
•Create documents with AutoCAD, from preliminary schematic to construction and finish details.
