CLARIN-SCA COMPETITION FOR ARCHITECTURE STUDENTS, Honorable Mention
Honorable Mention of the thesis project "Havana Food Port" in the Clarín-SCA Competition for architecture students.
The main purpose of the contest was to advance the value and revitalization of the Central Area of the Locality, imagining the urban transformations that allow the center to be given new spaces for public use and at the same time to generate bigger routes with activities of tourist interest; such as artistic, gastronomic productions typical of the region, recreational and social.
The main objective is to achieve a higher quality of Urban Life, with new spaces that have the human scale present, building unique microclimates in each of them, with predominance of pedestrian movement; and finally the projectual approximation of some buildings that in the future would be part of this new proposal for the city.
Mobility study
New pedestrian spaces to enter the hearts of apples where new urban commercial spaces will be generated. Mobility includes parking lots, finding innovative forms of parking in these apple hearts that do not negatively impact the landscape.
