My grandfather started my journey into architecture and design. A carpenter by profession, he built built two of the homes that he lived in. The first blueprints I ever saw was for one of his own houses.
I attended the University of Illinois for undergraduate studies, and received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Architectural Studies. I went on to get my masters at UIUC as well, graduating in May of 2016.
My studies were focused on sustainable design and technologies but gained proficiency in many skills and design programs.
