I come from a small town.  The future of my home culture has long since been an outstanding question for my entire life.  It was only natural to base my Essential Dwelling studio around this question.  There is a huge ocean of corn and wheat between our major cities and coasts with people living in it.  How can they hope to have a stake in this world that prioritizes the urban spaces, which take their needs from the adjacent rural lands?  Drones among other budding technologies have the power to make living anywhere energy independent and still be completely connected to the rest of the world...that is if your are so inclined.
