With more than 35 years as a professional planner and urban designer, Glenn Taylor’s passion derives from collaborating with design professionals to create new ideas and innovation that respond to a rapidly evolving world.
Mr. Taylor specializes in the design of destination resorts and golf course-oriented communities, large-scale master-planned communities, and entertainment-based projects. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in project conceptualization and been responsible for developing innovative solutions. His experience in master planning and urban design encompasses acclaimed and award-winning projects around the United States, including in Hawaii, as well as internationally in Mexico, China, and the United Arab Emirates.
Mr. Taylor has held senior positions in internationally recognized planning firms, where he directed multidisciplinary teams in designing complex and challenging projects. In addition, for a number of years he was employed in several governmental land-use agencies in California at the municipal and county level. From this experience, Mr. Taylor gained a valuable perspective on achieving a balance of regulatory policies and procedures and economic considerations that respected the goals of the private client, government and local stakeholders.
