I am an aspiring architect with a passion for art, design and long distance running.
Foreign travels while growing up cultivated my thirst to understand the world around me. I was drawn into the world of Architecture soon after I moved to New York City in 2009, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Barnard College, graduating in 2013.
During college and after graduation I spent much of my time in art and architecture studios working with my hands. Here, I grew as a thinker and maker and became fascinated by the role architects play in both envisioning ideas and bringing them to life.
With the aspiration to become a licensed architect, I decided to pursue my M. ARCH at the University of Pennsylvania, where I investigated varying agendas—some speculative, others rooted in questions of site and program, others focused on tectonics, computation, materials or spatial invention.
My work at Penn solidified my belief in the potential of research and design to create memorable spaces that improve the quality of life for people.
In 2017 I joined Perkins+Will's Boston studio, where I currently work on an innovative K-12 educational building.
