Established in 2007, Barton Designworks, Architecture P.C. (BDwA) offers comprehensive architectural and interior design services. The office is located in New York City’s Flower District at 150 West 28th Street, Suite 1503B, New York, NY 10001.

Core technical staff size varies from 2 to 4 persons, with a deep roster of independent contractors and consultants in all support disciplines including: structural and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering; lighting and audio visual systems design and landmarks and building code consulting.

BDwA effectively leverages smaller staff size with effective use of software and technology so that more time can be spent on design, visualization and coordination.

Jack Silverstein, AIA is licensed to practice architecture in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. He has worked throughout the US with affiliate firms licensed in Pennsylvania, California, Colorado, Florida, Michigan, Maine, and Washington D.C.

BDwA has successfully completed numerous projects in New York City which required thoughtful coordination of client input and consultant disciplines in varied and distant locations across the United States and Europe. 

BDwA has significant experience in dense urban multi-user retail facilities, with special attention to stringent landlord requirements; notable site specific experience includes work at Port Authority Bus Terminal, Grand Central Terminal, World Trade Center, Rockefeller Plaza and the Westchester Medical Center.
