General Responsibilities
• Created survey, renovation and new construction models using Revit.
• Created, printed and modified drawings in Revit.
• Coordinated all architectural construction documentation and drawings for each phase of fast-track projects. Worked both in teams and alone to complete CD sets.

Pre- Design
• Surveyed existing buildings and generated models, drawings sets and reports to determine viability of new space for clients.
• Conducted pre-planning studies for new construction and renovations to existing buildings.
• Consulted with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements of the new structure.
• Completed comprehensive code compliance evaluations in pre-planning stage to scrutinize clients design goals against established architectural criteria and ensure code compliance and project was within budget.
• Engaged with clients to determine needs and requirements for high profile commercial stores.
Design + Construction
• Attended and organized team meetings to resolve technical and project issues and review project schedules.
• Reviewed technical drawings developed by consultants to ensure clients input was reflected.
• Managed frequent design changes from client with poise, compassion and support and resolved issues efficiently and in timely manner.
• Advised clients on issues and options negatively affecting completion dates and suggested alternates and ways to keep project under budget.
• Coordinated with clients, consultants and contractors during construction bidding. Largest scale project had around 15 different consultants were regularly coordinated with (MEP, sprinkler, fire alarm, IT/data, audio visual, structural, kitchen consultant, acoustics, elevator, signage and various millwork vendors and artists).
• Communicated with vendors and contractors to incorporate their input into project designs. Coordinated with landlord to tenant design guidelines with client goals.
• Researched materials and products to determine appropriate selection for projects.
• Incorporated sustainable designs into commercial projects and often worked to meet energy code compliance, even in landmarked spaces where compliance is not required, to meet sustainability goals.
• Attended weekly site visits to coordinate with contractors and ensure work was completed to client’s satisfaction.

• Assisted faculty members with 3 main research assignments on environmental parametric design, incorporating HVAC-integrated active modular phytoremediation systems into building and using agricultural waste by-products, like coconut husk, for building materials.

SBP rebuilds for low-to-moderate income homeowners, placing a special focus on families with small children, the elderly, disabled persons, war veterans and the under-and uninsured. As a volunteer I worked in a group to help build homes.
