About

I'm originally from Alameda, California & was raised by two extremely hard working, dedicated, and passionate parents who have supported me & guided me in life, and are a large part of who I am today.  I grew up in a household of high standards, high expectations, and positive affirmations. I consistently hold myself to high standards and expectations, while also allowing myself to make mistakes, improve, and leave room for growth.  I use this mentality to guide my professional and personal work ethic and my design style.  A motto I live by is, "Do not say can't, say can't yet."  My thought process is that just because something cannot be completed or done presently, does not mean it is impossible.  I am consistently determined and open to learning new skills and programs.  There are infinite paths and directions to go about solving problems and challenges, especially when it comes to clientele, conceptualizing, and design layouts. I've neither been someone to sugar coat information, nor have I been someone who is dishonest, untrustworthy, or to beat around the bush.  I am consistently assertive and self-reflective, with strong interpersonal and communicative skills.

I moved to New York City to attend The New School in their dual-degree program majoring in Interior Design at Parsons The New School for Design & in Psychology at Eugene College The New School for Liberal Arts in 2011.  My journey through college was a mixture of struggle, hard work, challenges, persistence, perseverance, and an overall illuminating learning experience and opportunity.  Through this journey, in addition to the next adult chapter of my life, I continue to grow, learn, and open my mind to seeking new experiences and opportunities.
