In June 2011 I graduated from the accredited 5-year architecture program of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I received a Bachelor of Architecture degree along with a completed minor in Art. I am currently seeking a position as an intern or junior architect at an architecture firm. I wish to further my knowledge in the field of architecture and would love to branch out into other areas, especially interior architecture. As an art minor, I feel that my experience with art will allow me to be versatile and encompass a wider range of issues. In addition, I have completed two internships in the South Park area of San Francisco with Sand Studios and Levy Design Partners.
I am individual who is extremely motivated to learn. I have developed a strong work ethic along with various design skills. In addition to hand sketching and drafting, I like to design through physical model building. However, I am also proficient in many computer programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCad, Rhino, and SketchUp. In addition, I am willing to learn any new programs that will help me to become a better designer.
