About

I'm driven by complex projects, working together with advisors, clients and other stakeholders towards the realization of a project is what motivates and excites me. Striving for the best possible results in architectural and programmatic design within the limitations of time and budget depicts my strategy, so that the client not only can look back on a smooth design process but foremost can use and enjoy its building for a long time.

I am ambitious, very eager to learn and like to develop myself in every aspects of life.  As a designer, I let myself inspire by contemporary and clear designs that have a functional outlook. Designers that have influenced me are Richard Meier, Norman Foster and David Chipperfield. As complex projects have driven me, my interests has grown, but is not limited to, healthcare and retail design.

After my graduation from Delft University of Technology I landed a job as project manager at the University of Amsterdam, where I was involved with the development of the new university library. A  sustainable (BREEAM Excellent) transformation project with a beautiful central atrium as backbone. During my employment I came to the conclusion that my strength lies in the combination of architecture and project management. Letting users understand how the building works, translating client wishes into the design and guide them trough the design process by making them aware of choices that have to be made while explaining the beauty of the design. All of this within the given constraints of time, budget.

I am currently looking to expand my horizon abroad on the cutting edge of architecture and project management, preferably within the USA, Canada or the UK.
