Coming from Wisconsin I pursued my undergraduate degree at UW-Milwaukee in Architecture. Upon graduating, I also held interest in urban issues and completed an Urban Planning Certificate. In 2006 I submitted the winning entry for a design competition for a student recreation center sponsored by Kawneer and the AIAS. After working for roughly 2 years I moved to Oregon to get my Masters in Architecture at the University of Oregon.
I am looking for an entry level position where I will be exposed to all aspects of design. A firm that challenges me on a daily basis and where I can apply my talents and knowledge is ideal. A complete portfolio of my works can be found at www.brian-schmidt.com
