Immersive Video Experiences Share the History and Spirit of L’Occitane en Provence in Their Toronto Flagship Store

For their Toronto flagship store renovation, L’Occitane en Provence wanted to turn the store into a set of experiences that tell the story of the brand. Their interior designer School House reached out to us to create two immersive experiences for the store.

At the front of the store, two eggshell-shaped pods hang from the ceiling. Inside each pod, a wraparound projection display takes shoppers on a hot air balloon ride over the lavender’s fields and shows the process of harvesting plants for use in L’Occitane’s products. Shoppers can reach out and touch the pods to reveal additional behind-the-scenes stories about their products.

The flagship store was selected as a finalist in the World Retail Awards in two separate categories: Best Customer Experience Initiative, and Outstanding Store Design.
