The restaurant is located in a college town inside a mall called Urban Center Juriquilla which is characterized by an atmosphere of sophistication and high quality architectural design where visitors are guaranteed to have a unique, practical and comfortable experience at the entrance of Juriquilla city, Querétaro.

The result of this project starts from the idea of creating an image for the franchise Sonora Grill. It is intended that with this reinterpretation, will conceive a new identity for a more relaxed, casual and unpretentious meal, without reducing the quality experience that Sonora Grill can offer with its concept of northern Mexican food.
Inside the commercial space, there is a very big exterior terrace. This was one of the challenges during the design process. It is intended to give priority to the bar, so it stands as a central element in the dining area.
Following the idea of informality, the ceiling is designed in a very particular way: with metal scrap like cans, car wheels, bike remains, among other metal waste, all these placed on a frame of the same material. Furthermore, the use of natural wood treated with oil as aesthetic and low-cost resource in floors and walls, is used to reflect this relaxed atmosphere that is persuaded with the new image of Sonora Grill.
Being such a large space, it was necessary to use interior design elements such as booth seatings, fireplaces, vegetation and furniture to subdivide the area and create warmer and cozier spaces. The choosing of the color palette in neutral tones for the finishes, pretend to favor the warmth of the space.

The furniture concept appears from the idea of getting on the architectural design, the concept of the franchise and the interior design. After a long search for the right furniture that was devised, it was concluded that no line of national or international design would approximate the original idea: cozy, rustic and bare. At the end, it was acquired in Mexican cities where native people made ??and designed. The furniture was the last element that helped to consolidate the successful outcome of the new image of Sonora Grill.
