THE ARCHITECT ASSIGNED ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TOWARDS THE PROJECT:

The assigned role to play was the position of Senior Architect , Interior designer and the Project Manager for the design stage and the Head of Technical Support team through the time of site execution.
Being the Senior Designer for Architecture and Interior works have been through many stages. Starti-
ng with Conceptual design, the Architect has to get the Client’s approvals on preliminary drawings with
coordination with the requirements of Governmental Agencies. Schematic design stage and the Design
development stage including the updating of Architectural drawings and the tranformation between other disciplines. The coordination between all disciplines was one of the most important priorities and therefore many procedures were set to ensure the full coordination is done properly.
At the tendering stage, Interior works have taken a big space of the picture after finalizing the main areas required for each space. The detail works for each and every space were developed along with detailing for Architectural works and other disciplines as well.
The Project Management part of the story was very important to be monitored and controlled. A very strict plans and schedules have been approved and followed to ensure that everything will be done on time.
The project was a critical challenge and an aggressive fast track project style were followed to get the target.
On site works, a technical support team was allocated for the task of helping and supporting execution team with all needed information in different disciplines.
Many details and technical requirements have been followed-up and developed on site according to site conditions and requirements.
