Located within in the Great Park Neighborhoods, the lighting design for Parasol Park supports its playful and fun characteristics while ensuring safety and security. Pathways are illuminated with contemporary tapering light poles, and gathering spaces are wrapped with string lights, creating a festive outdoor atmosphere. Downlights integrated into the trellis above an outdoor kitchen area, create a star ceiling above.  The main focus of the part of the massive “tree of light” pine tree which is elegantly up-lit.  The deck below is lit and dappled with gobo projectors discretely located within the branches.
