Located in Seattle’s South Lake Union rapidly growing Upzone, this 12-story office for Vulcan Real Estate was built specifically with the future tenant, Amazon.com, in mind.  The building reflects the unique mix of the community with futuristic public art and the warmth of a unique terracotta rain screen.  The combination of perimeter lighting and intentionally visible and concealed luminaires blurs the inside-outside boundary between the signature portal and a street friendly lobby.  Soft, inviting lighting at the outdoor plaza encourages both office workers and residents to slow down and linger.
