The 2018 World Architecture Festival is coming up next month, and after Barcelona, Singapore, and Berlin hosted it in previous years, Amsterdam will be this year's place to be for the architecture community from November 28–30.
As part of its annual awards program, the festival already revealed the shortlist for the WAF Awards earlier this year as well as the winner of its Water Research Prize, then last week, the WAFX Prize winners, and now also the twenty finalists of the Architectural Photography Awards.
The four main categories—Exteriors, Interiors, Sense of Place, and Buildings in Use—were expanded by two new additional categories this year, Mobile and Portfolio. The shortlisted photographs will be exhibited at WAF in Amsterdam, and visitors will have the chance to vote for their overall winner of the four main categories.
