The houses were designed based on local architecture principles of Kordistan of Iran. Therefore, local materials such as stone and wood were chosen as the main materials in both interior and exterior design. In addition, balconies, attached yards, and large windows as the main elements of local architecture were used to make them in tune with local lifestyle.
