Self-Storage

This project addresses the urban issues associated with self-storage facilities by envisioning an environment where people and their belongings can coexist. By designing elaborate, sculptural spaces for storage and placing public program in the interstitial space between storage units, the boundaries between spaces for objects and those for people are blurred, staging an encounter which frames stored objects as exhibited artifacts to be shared with the city.
