Elizabeth ADU is a 1200sf accessory dwelling unit in the city of Pasadena.  This new residence is located within the existing single family dwelling property and designed for the youngest son seeking to be closer to his family and save money on the cost of housing.

Designed as an detached unit , the orientation and layout depicts a lifestyle that is open and modern. The desire to have views to Mt Wilson was the main design driver.  Clean lines and humble materials of plaster and wood make up the overall design aesthetic approach.

Currently waiting for planning approval and in the meantime concentrating on the building permit set submittal
