First Community Housing built 27 studio units (400 SF) of sustainable, affordable, special needs, rental housing at 1585 W. El Camino Real in Mountain View. This project is designed to serve very low and extremely low-income (30-50% of the area median income) developmentally disabled adults, a population group with great need for affordable housing opportunities.

1585 Studios is registered with the US Green Building Council and received a LEED Platinum rating. The building’s focus is on healthy living, lower operating expenses and reducing automobile use.
