I am a graduate from University at Buffalo, the State University of New York with a masters degree in Architecture. My passion towards architecture and sustainability have influenced my projects. Given an opportunity I would like to contribute towards the greater cause of making sustainable living through architecture.

Redesigning Resettlements
• Studied the process of refugee resettlements in Buffalo, NY.
• Proposed a development plan for future incoming refugees, inclusive of: re-programming of Broadway
Market, retrofitting of single family homes, and designing of apartments for refugees.

Design for Resilience
• Researched and designed strategies to attain resilience in for building a community center in South Buffalo.
• Dealt with program design to achieve social cohesion, physical resilience and revenue
generation for the center, applicable in a bigger project for NYSERDA in the future.

GRoW House Furniture - GRoW Tables
• Designed Furniture for a ‘GRoW Home, Buffalo’ (a Zero – Energy house developed for the Solar Decathlon
competition).
• Researched the volume and water needs of eight species of plants and integrated sufficient thermal mass.

Performative Pastoral: New surfaces for Commercial Developments
• Re-designed Target‘s (a big box store) surfaces to incorporate effective façade systems that benefit the
conditions and ecology of the site.
• Involved designing a micro-algae energy generating system prototype and a water retention system for
enhancing natural energy used on the building envelope.
• Integrated perforated paving and bio-swale for increased water infiltration in the parking lot.

Design Dissertation
• Designed a waterfront development project at Fort Kochi, Kerala for the Design Dissertation.
• Created a design brief for the program to serve as a platform for locals and tourists to promote the state’s
cultural rowing practices.
• Design included a Boat House, a Promenade, Accommodations, an Ayurvedic Spa and Exhibition Spaces.
