The Lakeview Chamber of Commerce selected moss to prepare a master plan for Lakeview commercial areas. Along with consultant partners, PLACE, moss led the sustainability and environmental review portion of the planning process. After a thorough data collection process, in which moss held open houses and contests and conducted youth outreach, as well as interviewed and surveyed over Lakeview residents, the master plan was released in March 2011. Components of the plan include an increase in green and public gathering spaces, a sustainability guide for businesses, a "living wall", and the "LowLine," a flora-lined path underneath Chicago's elevated train tracks.
Moss won awards for LAMP from the American Planning Association for community outreach and the top merit award from the International Downtown Association.
