Located in the Naraimdal area in Mongolia, this building will be the home for the national basketball team, and will be the first building of it’s kind to be prepared to host international events.
The building, designed to have a minimal visual impact on the area which is highly saturated with soviet buildings, will be covered with a green roof which will help insulate the building from the extremes of the Mongolian climate; as well as maximization of the daylight via the surrounding glass walls and the skylight. The complex will also be built using local materials and regional construction techniques, in order to be both sustainable and sensitive to the environment.
