This is called the N-House that is sited in Kumamoto. I believe it was first published in a 1992 issue of Japan Architect. For western print it can be found in Olivier Meystre's Pictures of the Floating Microcosm.

James Cutler - the architect of the above project - designed Bill Gates guest house. It's just called the 'Guest House' on the firm's website.

That's a very richly textured building. Wouldn't have expected it from BG. Wasn't aware of it, thanks.
Thanks for trying Danlazop. It is a fake town camouflage thrown on the Boeing factory in WW2 thinking that enemy aircraft wouldn't bomb a residential area

Oop sorry forgot the rules. One of my favorite buildings and probably not hard to guess...looks like it will not allow me to add a photo :(
guidelines (Federal!)
- must be a plan published by others and noteworthy
- black and white if possible
- you guess correct >>>you post next.
we shall start off easy -
this is one that I’ve been thinking about lately
Siza?
Not quite, but they both really like white!
Member of The New York Five / The Whites?
HAHAHAHAHA that's p funny
I can picture Meier for some reason? Is it a Richard Meier piece?
No it’s not by one of the New York Five
All that glass could be a Niemeyer house?
Not quite! The architect is still alive.
we could get this thing moving if you give us a clue
Ah yes the architect was mentioned in the discussion of the previous challenge
If mentioned by association.. Ito?
the scale is just a hard one here.
SANAA?
yep
for the love of dog, I can't find this plan anywhere
just to push it along further it's one of the early Sejima houses.
so I tried cheating, reverse look-up and 100% nothing...so this is a good one, but I must disqualify myself for now...
Well I went through a Sanaa monograph titled ‘houses’ and searched every project listed on Sanaa and Sejimas page; still no dice.
hmmm giving more hint, it's a house from the 90s' in a city on Kyushu island.
oooh also a crucial point is that it's not realized.
My apologies if this has been posted already: https://atlasofplans.herokuapp.com/play
ENJOY

This one is tough. I can't figure it out. I even went to google for an image search hint - nothin'.
I thought it was a EOM house but I've ran through a few options and came up empty
Hints: it's unbuilt. In japan by non-japanese architect.
Non much of a hint. ;)
ok, ok.
It's a duo, one of them is australian. Prominent in the 90's, did a bunch of work in Rotterdam.
Think Tom Hanks' best friend in Cast Away
.
I think it's Peter Wilson and Julia Bolle-Willson but I can't find the design . . .
Bolles - Wilson. Somehow this 2d reminds me of the 3d of eglise saint pierre plan.....
@chad, Cosmos Commercial Building.
yep. there is a great article about the building and its drawings in Drawing Matter: https://drawingmatter.org/cosmos-street-revisited/
cool stuff
the graphics remind me a bit of archigram
your turn @pandahut
