Mario was born in La Habana, Cuba and moved to the United States at the age of 9. Attended Florida International University in Miami, FL where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture (08) and a Master of Architecture (11).
His architectural experience includes working in teams to develop projects from concept design phase to construction administration. He has also worked on various project types including mixed use, higher education, commercial, transportation, multi-family residential, single family residential, hospitality and landscape architecture.
In his previous role, Mario was a Senior Architecture Lead at Wework for the LATAM region working extensively on several projects throughout Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Bogota, Medellin and Barranquilla. Currently, Mario is an Architect at Ennead Architects in New York City, working on higher education and commercial high rise projects.
