RGB is a light/form installation that explores ideas of perspective and spatial illusion and is a continuation of my ‘POSITIONING’ research. An anamorphic shape is created for each of the RGB color values. The static image becomes animated as one moves in and around the form questioning ideas of vision and perception. One experiences the work as ‘perceived form’ that is constantly in a state of flux initiated by the visitor’s path and gaze. This work seeks to translate the POSITIONING research into sculptural form using light as a mediator of space.
