Support - Industrial Refurbishment

This Project was developed to meet the needs requested by the Brazilian Customs Importation Authority for an Industrial Storage Building in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The main goal was to guarantee that all the relations between internal and external fluxes were according to the Technical Regulations for this specific type of operation, which demanded a new understanding of these fluxes and how the external and internal spaces of the building could give a better solution for these demands. So a new Layout was developed to achieve these specific demands. As long as the building would need a refurbishment, a new entrance was proposed, where a big square would be built in front of the current entry, creating a big square before the primary access, where people in general and employees would be able to spend some time and which would create a more friendly environment surrounding this Industrial Building. The total area of the lot was 149,332.15 sqm with an intervention area of around 22,470 sqm. Date: 11-09-2021
