These custom dining chairs and dining bench were designed and handcrafted for a small growing family in the Bay Area. The owners wanted the chairs and bench to match their existing solid walnut dining table. 

Solid reclaimed walnut slabs were sourced locally from a company that specializes in removing and salvaging lumber that otherwise would be wasted. 

The designed pieces were meticulously laid out on the slabs before milling to reduce leftovers and were crafted using multiple techniques before assembling with wood joinery.
