The project was a mixed-use typology design which consisted of three separate typologies working together on the proposed site. The proposed site is the Dean Savage Memorial Park located in the oldest neighborhood in Detroit, Corktown, and is contained by Trumbull Street, Abbott Street and Porter Street. A residential high-rise apartment building, interpretive culture center and a community health center were designed to accommodate the local residents of the historic Corktown neighborhood and engage the site and surrounding urban context.
