Meter is a full service architecture office with an emphasis on institutional and residential design.  Our design approach starts with a careful analysis of context, and develops with the goal of making a meaningful contribution to the fabric of the environment, both natural and man made.  Special attention is made to 'facts on the ground' : we generally privilege an empirical approach over one that starts with a priori design strategies.
