Building Type: Viewing Platforms
This was my second architectural design project and was the first project with a site. The goals of the project were to move between physical and digital mediums, create a custom site, and incorporate viewing platforms onto the site.
In this project, I was able to easily move between two and three dimensional design. There was no defined program, which allowed for greater experimentation. By creating countless sketch models I was able to visualize the spaces quickly and complete many iterations. The design of both the initial sculpture and the final viewing platforms was well-received by students and professors alike.
