Building Type: Music Studio and Residence
This was my first architectural design project. The goals of the project were (1) to move fluidly between physical and digital mediums and (2) to use sculpture to inspire habitable spaces. The client was a fictional film-score composer and the project was siteless.
Phase I
I designed and crafted an integrated duality cube that was one part molded concrete and one part wood.
Phase II
Using hand drafting and digital software the cube was scaled up and reinterpreted as a studio and residence for a fictional film-score composer.
