This proposal for an office space/residence in the centre of London is quite a different one. Amongst its historical surroundings, this building stands out with a prominent metal finned extension on the fourth floor. The clients called for a contemporary addition to this particular block, as it‘s the first visible building at the exit of the tube station in the adjacent square. The city of London is striving to turn this square into a hub for younger professionals, thus wanting a more “hip” and contemporary environment. Situated atop the three floors of office space, we proposed a luxurious set of apartments that would have views of the city and most importantly the newly developed square.
