Project was made for an anonymous urban-architectural competition proclaimed by city of Martin by team two landscape architects Ing. Klára Zukinová, Ing. Lucia Lackovičová and licensed architect Prof. Ing.arch. Peter Gál, PhD. Project was awarded by the professional jury by 3rd prize and exhibited in the city center.
Former area of military warehouses and arsenals is nowadys unused and is waiting for a new utilization for needs of the city, its inhabitants and visitors. This fenced area with high potencial outside the city is, in our proposal changed to the ,, sunny island in the industrial sea". Industrial buildings were given a new functions, spatious area around them is filled with greenery and urban spaces for diverse activities and resting.
