This multi-use complex utilized the existing natural elements of the lakeside site to inform the design of a linear experience. The project disconnects the user from the urban downtown setting adjacent to the site. The form was characterized by large piling-like structures that support a pier above and shared spaces between, while holding program within. The final design was comprised of learning, exhibition, and event spaces that span outward over the lake in a unique arrangment that focused on the individual experience of the user.
