The process of design ignites me.
It's the lens through which I see problems, create solutions, and critique both the intentional and unintentional. My perception of the world can't avoid digesting the details, spaces and voids created. Sometimes, it annoys my wife.
Currently, I'm working through the ARE, fixing up a house we recently bought, and trying to travel as often as possible!

C5 Competition, 3rd Place
An OU College of Architecture Senior class competition, where teams of architects, interior designers, and construction science students respond to an RFP. The RFP is sent out by a sponsoring architectural firm/contractor and the teams have two weeks to compile a design, renderings, a construction cost opinion, and prepare an interview to present the work. My team delivered a design that was awarded third place in the competition.
Architecture and Education Design Competition, 1st Place
After being teamed up with Masters of Education students from China, we were challenged to design a learning space for the year 2025 that could accommodate roughly 30 students. We came up with a kit of parts, based off of bicycle components. Each component supported a different type of learning. The idea of the components, instead of a new building, came from the idea of affordability for schools and accessibility to professional mentors for the students.
