Project Architect/ Project Manager for Mid-sized architecture and planning firm focusing on university, historic, and adaptive reuse projects.
○ Led consultant coordination, building envelope design and detailing from design development through construction documents on the $22 million Latimer Library Renovation and Addition at St. Vincent College. The project transformed the existing library into the campus information and collaboration hub.
○ Established program and schematic design and went on to lead a small team through design development to construction documents for the historic Bentley Hall, Allegheny College. Followed the secretary of interior standards and LEED guidelines to preserve the 200-year-old structure. The complete renovation includes a new elevator, accessible toilets, structural stabilization, new mechanical systems and the loving restoration of existing wood and plaster finishes within the solid masonry building. The $13 million project is slated to open in June of 2020.

Intern Architect contributing to the design development and documentation phases of several residential and mix-use projects located in Buffalo. These included the 2013 project at the northwest corner of Delaware and Virginia that included 12 apartments, office space and a restored carriage house in the rear. My other responsibilities included photographing, surveying the type and condition and documenting the windows and doors of the Pierce Arrow Administration building on Elmwood Avenue. This project was in preparation for applying for State Historic Preservation tax credits.

Owner/Designer who offers freelance and contract architectural and graphic design to clients that include architects, engineers, and commercial, residential building owners as well as real estate management organizations. I use this KLYPT Studio name to promote all of my other creative outlets including blog, online ETSY online market place to market my original hand knit garments and patterns. I Coordinated bidding and construction management for the Phase III Renovations to the Friends to the Elderly Facility (City of Buffalo). As an interior design architect, I selected the interior finishes and fixtures for this project, upgraded over 75% of the center to meet ADA guidelines, while expanding the program space within the building. I also worked on construction documents and bidding for the North Jefferson Library (City of Buffalo).
