I am a U.S Licensed Architect with approximately six years of working experience in Asia. I have recently relocated to the United States to look for new challenges and career opportunities.

I have work experience in all phases of the Architectural design process and worked on a broad range of projects. During my time with Benoy Architects, I have helped to complete a shopping center project from concept to construction administration stage. The project (Suzhou center) features several complex façade systems, including the largest glass canopy roof in the world. My design role in this project focused on building envelope design, digital modeling, drawings production and liaised with design consultants and contractors for project coordination. I have also worked on two other mixed-use development projects, from concept to SD stage, and several competition projects during my four-year time in this company. Before working in Benoy, I have spent one year in Aedas Architects, working on railway station renovation projects in Hong Kong. My design role included construction documents production (CD stage) and liaised with client and building department for building plan submission. Before relocating to New York, I have also briefly worked in Handel Architects Hong Kong office for seven months. My job responsibility includes building envelope design for a Hotel in Taiwan and retail planning for a mixed-use project in Sri Lanka.

In terms of design software skills, I am proficient in Autocad, Rhino, Google Sketchup, Maya and Maxwell rendering. I have completed one project with REVIT (DD stage) and have used Microstation to complete construction drawings for a railway station project.

During my spare time, I volunteered to use my expertise to help people in need. In 2015, after the major earthquake in Nepal, I had a chance to work with a group of professionals to design a reconstruction plan in a small neighborhood in the Bhaktapur city. I have also volunteered as a tutor to lead a group of Architecture students to design and produce home furniture for vulnerable families in Hong Kong. Starting from December 2017, I have been working as a full time volunteer for a non-profit organisation, Global ARCHIVE in New York, to deliver Architecture design strategies to improve the health conditions in vulnerable families.
