Old Colony History Museum in Taunton, MA is a small one that combines exhibition, research and community service. In order to give better service for the people, a certain change is needed for this small history museum, like other small history museums in America, which are surviving from short finance and hard operation. I propose to see history in a wider range to see the contexts of different historical events. Therefore, an equivalent architectural method is introduced to this old building that cutting the existing boundaries to create new frames and spaces to see new contents in a larger context.
