About

I am a 2010 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, with a Masters in Architecture.  I also received a Bachelor of Science in Design from the same institution in 2008, graduating with distinction.  While in school, I was inducted into Tau Sigma Delta, the Honor Society for Architecture and Allied Arts, at the end of my Third year in 2007.  In grad school, I also had the opportunity to travel abroad, taking part in our London Program, which consisted of an entire semester studying Contemporary and Historical Architecture, and taking part in a design studio, and an independent study, which focused on London's East End.  Since June 2012, I have been an intern with Keith Dubas & Associates, working hands-on with all facets of residential design projects.

The love of architecture and design struck me early.  I had a childhood consisting of my father driving me around to see the new houses being built; designing elaborate Lego houses complete with self-built versions of all appliances and furniture, and "acres" of landscaping; endless floor plans of houses drawn with markers on rough construction paper; my first computer drafting programs purchased for me by my mother at the age of 12.  Once in high school, I was able to take more advanced classes in drafting, giving me my first glimpse at AutoCAD at the age of 16.

My path to study architecture in college was paved early in life, beginning to prepare me for the intensity and amount of dedication required to succeed.  My Bachelor's degree and Master's degree are two things that I am the most proud of; they are the proof of my hard work, dedication, and passion.
