The site is an old industrial field. The huge factories and buildings provide the perfect back drop for a creative art like glass blowing. Designing this glass factory focused on creating spaces in which glass blowers could produce amazing pieces of art. The two main concerns were providing spaces to create and places to display. Working with the existing Wheland site provided an opportunity to revitalize an abandoned area giving visitors an exclusive look at the exciting yet dangerous process of blowing glass.
