According to Cheng Jianhua, Guangzhou mayor, Zhujiang New Town is Guangzhou’s CBD V1.0, Financial City is V2.0, Pazhou is V2.5. A brand new concept was born in this project -- cluster for headquarters of financial innovation of science and technology. The Internet innovation cluster has attracted many renowned electrical business magnates, such as Alibaba, Tencent, Fosun Group, Vipshop, MIUI and so on. The promising CBD in Pazhou will lead the upgrading of Guangzhou’s economy. Pazhou island covers an area of about 10 square kilometers, divided into the western zone, middle 1 zone , the middle 2 zone and the eastern zone. According to the plan, it will become an open Headquarter Commerce District with Lingnan charm.
