The Work is being done in the basement level of the Boiler room of one of the 23 buildings as well as in tank rooms in every building in Pelham Parkway Houses in the Bronx.
The scope of work includes removal and replacement of the existing boiler plant at its current location in the cellar of the main Building. The existing boilers, which were installed c. 1984, will be replaced in-kind. Also replacement of doors, door frames, floor, ceiling and walls refinishing, installment of new louvers for air circulation is being done.
