Tai Hang is one of the areas in Hong Kong Is-land that has changed least in the past years, it remains with low-rise housing building that are slowly transforming into a high class restaurants and design shops, but there are still some car fixing shops and old houses. This design is mainly focused on an extension for the central library a few meters away, the strategy is not only involving the building but the whole neighborhood, design a series of green area and facilitating the residents to move easily and efficiently along the whole site. The library itself is a result of a series of circulation paths.
