Arkansas River Pedestrian Bridge

Designed as part of a design competition held by the City of Tulsa, the goal was to connect the city's extensive river trail system to the new Gathering Place park.

Great public spaces don’t just exist for their own sake. Vibrant communities thrive on intentional environments conducive to accidental interactions, and Tulsa’s pedestrian bridge should be no different. Instead of a physical monument designed to impress, the new bridge can encourage these unique experiences — a space for life to happen.

By accommodating a variety of activities — walking, biking, performance, etc. — the space becomes more than just a bridge, but a destination that fosters opportunities for interaction.
